A Personal Journey to Strength and Well-Being
As someone who has recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis myself, I know how overwhelming it can feel to face this new reality. But instead of letting it limit us, I believe we can turn it into an opportunity to care for our bodies in ways that support us as we age.
This is why I’ve designed a 10-week yoga course specifically for those of us who are living with osteoporosis, osteopenia, or simply want to be proactive in protecting our bones as we move through life.
This course comes from both my heart and my lived experience. As a senior yoga teacher, I understand how important it is to feel safe and supported in our movement, especially when we’re mindful of our bones.
I’ve crafted each class to be gentle yet effective, helping you build strength and confidence in a way that feels right for where you are today.
Facing osteoporosis is not the end of your strength; it’s an invitation to discover it in new, empowering ways. Let this journey be a testament to your resilience, as you nurture your body and spirit with mindful movement and unwavering self-compassion.

This Journey Will Bring:
- A Safe Space: Every class is designed with safety as the top priority, so you can move confidently, knowing the exercises are carefully tailored to support bone health.
- Gentle Strength-Building: Together, we’ll explore poses that help strengthen muscles around the bones, giving them the support they need while maintaining or improving bone density.
- Posture awareness : Posture awareness and improvement are vital for individuals with osteoporosis as proper alignment reduces the risk of fractures and supports bone strength. It also helps maintain balance and mobility, preventing falls and promoting overall spinal health.
- Improving Flexibility Improving flexibility is essential for those with osteoporosis as it enhances joint mobility, making everyday movements safer and more comfortable. It also helps reduce stiffness, promoting better posture and reducing the risk of injury or falls.
- Finding Balance: Improving balance is key, not only for bone health but to reduce the risk of falls—a concern many of us share.Improving balance and muscle tone increases our confidence in movement
- Mindful Connection: Yoga is more than just physical movement. We’ll use breathing techniques and mindfulness to reduce stress, helping you feel more at ease both on and off the mat.
- A Community of Like-Minded Individuals: You won’t be on this journey alone. This course offers the chance to connect with others who understand what you’re going through, creating a sense of shared support and encouragement.
